What a week! After a great Week 2 where the team went 4-1 and I got to contribute in left field and help our new varsity pitchers, it felt fantastic to be back on the mound to start Week 3.

We faced a tough Dowling High School team, and we came away with a 6-1 victory! It was a good game for me personally, as I was able to throw a complete game. I gave up 6 hits and 1 earned run, but most importantly, I kept us in control throughout. Even in the 7th inning, I was still feeling strong, consistently hitting 84-85 MPH with my fastball. My pitches felt sharp all game, leading to 9 strikeouts with just 1 walk.

Getting the win feels amazing, and I’m especially excited to notch my first conference win of the season. It’s always a good feeling to start strong against league opponents. This team continues to impress, and I’m proud of how everyone is competing. Looking forward to carrying this momentum into the rest of the season!
