Week 2 of the baseball season is in the books, and what a week it was for the team! We went an impressive 4-1, which is a fantastic way to build momentum early in the season.

After getting the ball twice in Week 1, I spent this past week cheering on my teammates from a different vantage point. While every pitcher wants to be on the mound, my role this week was a bit different, but just as rewarding: collaborating with our other pitchers to help them prepare for their varsity starts. It’s been great to see several guys making their varsity debuts, and being able to support them and share insights has been a real highlight.

But the week wasn’t just about watching and coaching from the sidelines! I also got the chance to play my secondary position in left field, which was a blast. It’s always fun to contribute in other ways, and even more so when you can make something happen at the plate. I was able to rip a double into the right-center field gap, which felt great!

I’ll be back on the mound to kick off Week 3, and I’m ready to carry this team’s winning energy with me. Here’s to another great week of baseball!
